Smyrna Church of the Nazarene has a variety of ministries for all ages to participate in.  We hope you will join us as we live out our mission through these various ministry outlets.

Core Groups

Groups are available for all ages with nursery services provided.  Children and Student Groups are geared toward specific age groups.  Nursery and Children Core groups meet in the main building in our Children's area.  Student and Adult Core Groups meet in the Ministry Center.  Core Groups meet at 9:00a.m. on Sunday Mornings.

College Ministies (Home Away From Home)                                                                                                                                                                                                

Our College students meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m - 11:00 p.m. at the home of Pastor Darren and Carrie.  They have Bible Study for an hour and then spend time studying, hanging out, playing games, or just relaxing.  Coffee and snacks are always available.  Contact Pastor Darren for more information.

Women's Ministry

The ladies of the Church have many events through out the year that help to mentor and refresh the ladies of the Church in addition to being fun!  They have monthly Bible study time as well as do various activities through out the year, like a retreat, progressive Christmas dinner, and other social and learning times together.

Men's Ministry

The Men's Ministry provides a monthly Bible study for the men of the Church and seek to foster authentic relationships.

Music Ministry

Music is an integral part of our worship times.  Our musicians and song leaders strive to foster worship through a blend of traditional and contemporary songs that focus the congregation on what God has in store for us.

Audio/Video Ministry

Our Audio/Video ministry works along side the Music Ministry and pastoral staff for services and special occasions.  This ministry also aims to provide people with ways to participate in our services who may not be able to attend and to share messages that touched hearts and lives.  This ministry makes CDs for a donation and now posts video recordings to our YouTube channel.

Blessing Box

Many need just a little bit of help to make it through tough times.  Our Food Pantry is a local source of help for those in need.
